Proton exchange membranes (PEM) are widely used in fields such as fuel cells, hydrogen production through water electrolysis, vanadium flow battery energy storage, and chlor alkali industry. Perfluorosulfonic acid membrane (PFSA) proton exchange membrane is the mainstream product in the market. Proton exchange membrane, also known as proton membrane or hydrogen ion exchange membrane, is a selective ion permeable membrane widely used in downstream scenarios such as fuel cells, hydrogen production from water electrolysis, vanadium flow battery energy storage, and chlor alkali industry. PEM is one of the core components of hydrogen fuel cells and also the core component of membrane electrodes in water electrolysis cells. It plays a role in providing channels for proton migration and transport, separating gas reactants, and blocking electrolytes in fuel cells and electrolysis cells. The performance of PEM affects the performance and service life of downstream components. Perfluorosulfonic acid membrane (PFSA) proton exchange membrane is the mainstream product in the market. Proton exchange membrane, also known as proton membrane or hydrogen ion exchange membrane, is a selective ion permeable membrane widely used in downstream scenarios such as fuel cells, hydrogen production from water electrolysis, vanadium flow battery energy storage, and chlor alkali industry. PEM is one of the core components of hydrogen fuel cells and also the core component of membrane electrodes in water electrolysis cells. It plays a role in providing channels for proton migration and transport, separating gas reactants, and blocking electrolytes in fuel cells and electrolysis cells. The performance of PEM affects the performance and service life of downstream components. To achieve high efficiency and stability of hydrogen fuel cells, proton exchange membranes need to have high proton conductivity, good thermal and chemical stability, high mechanical strength, and durability; At the same time, the membrane surface needs to have good compatibility with the catalyst in order to effectively prevent gas diffusion and block the contact between oxidants and fuel. Perfluorosulfonic acid membrane (PFSA) proton exchange membrane is the mainstream product in the market. Proton exchange membrane, also known as proton membrane or hydrogen ion exchange membrane, is a selective ion permeable membrane widely used in downstream scenarios such as fuel cells, hydrogen production from water electrolysis, vanadium flow battery energy storage, and chlor alkali industry. PEM is one of the core components of hydrogen fuel cells and also the core component of membrane electrodes in water electrolysis cells. It plays a role in providing channels for proton migration and transport, separating gas reactants, and blocking electrolytes in fuel cells and electrolysis cells. The performance of PEM affects the performance and service life of downstream components. To achieve high efficiency and stability of hydrogen fuel cells, proton exchange membranes need to have high proton conductivity, good thermal and chemical stability, high mechanical strength, and durability; At the same time, the membrane surface needs to have good compatibility with the catalyst in order to effectively prevent gas diffusion and block the contact between oxidants and fuel. Proton exchange membranes are classified according to their fluorine content, mainly including perfluorosulfonic acid proton exchange membranes, partially fluorinated substance sub exchange membranes, composite proton exchange membranes, and non fluorinated proton exchange membranes.
