Description

Metal scavengers are different types of functional chemicals based on aluminium, carbon and silicon bases. Designed to react and bind excess metal complexes, among them aluminium-based metal scavengers that remove oxygen from hydrocarbon streams (e.g. ethylene). Carbon-based metal scavengers, on the other hand, are carbon-based powders suitable for the removal of dissolved metal species from organic reaction mixtures. Silica-based metal scavengers refer to functionalised silica designed for the extraction of metal contaminants from organic and aqueous systems. Suitable for batch and continuous processing applications. Ideal for R&D applications as they have extremely fast removal capabilities and are easily separated by filtration.

Metal scavengers are different types of functional chemicals based on aluminium, carbon and silicon bases. Designed to react and bind excess metal complexes, among them aluminium-based metal scavengers that remove oxygen from hydrocarbon streams (e.g. ethylene). Carbon-based metal scavengers, on the other hand, are carbon-based powders suitable for the removal of dissolved metal species from organic reaction mixtures. Silica-based metal scavengers refer to functionalised silica designed for the extraction of metal contaminants from organic and aqueous systems. Suitable for batch and continuous processing applications. Ideal for R&D applications as they have extremely fast removal capabilities and are easily separated by filtration.
