For high-temperature batteries, improving and optimizing the positive and negative electrode materials is a better way. As a common positive electrode material for nickel-hydrogen batteries, high temperature spherical nickel hydroxide can be used for high-temperature batteries that are charged and discharged at 55-70°C.

High temperature spherical nickel hydroxide is an important electrode material, which is widely used in nickel-hydrogen batteries due to its good conductivity at high temperatures, high theoretical specific capacity and superior electrochemical properties.
Globally, the production of spherical nickel hydroxide is mainly concentrated in China and Japan. Among them, China is the largest producer. Nickel-metal hydride battery is the core application of high temperature spherical nickel hydroxide.
