A heat pipe loop system is a heat transfer system that usually consists of one or more heat pipes that form a closed loop or cycle. In a heat pipe loop system, one port of the heat pipe (usually the evaporator) receives heat, causing the working fluid in it to evaporate into a gas, which then flows through the pipe to another port (usually the condenser), where it releases the heat and condenses again. As liquid, it eventually returns to the evaporator port, forming a closed thermal cycle.
