Description
Vacuum Turbo Pumps are also called vacuum turbomolecular pumps. The main vacuum pumps used in semiconductor manufacturing include dry vacuum pumps and turbomolecular pumps. In a turbomolecular pump or turbo pump, the turbine rotor rotates rapidly to generate a vacuum, with a high speed, and is usually used with a dry pump.
Turbomolecular pumps mainly include magnetic suspension molecular pumps and mechanical bearing molecular pumps. Among them, magnetic levitation molecular pump products are key core components of integrated circuit manufacturing equipment, providing the high-cleanliness ultra-high vacuum environment required for key semiconductor manufacturing processes such as etching, ion implantation, and thin film deposition. Compared with mechanical bearing molecular pumps, the advantage of magnetic levitation molecular pumps is that they can prevent bearings from overheating when the gas flow is large, and can effectively prevent damage to magnetic levitation bearings by corrosive media.
