Description

Doppler lidar is a non-contact measurement method. It receives the echo signal generated when the outgoing laser beam encounters aerosol particles in the atmosphere. Through the Doppler frequency shift in the echo signal, it can obtain the atmospheric motion information in the direction of the laser beam. Combined with optical switching or servo scanning, it can realize the measurement of the three-dimensional wind field in the atmosphere. It has the characteristics of large observation range, high temporal and spatial resolution, high measurement accuracy, and has the ability to detect clear skies. It is an effective means of offshore wind field detection.

Doppler lidar is a non-contact measurement method. It receives the echo signal generated when the outgoing laser beam encounters aerosol particles in the atmosphere. Through the Doppler frequency shift in the echo signal, it can obtain the atmospheric motion information in the direction of the laser beam. Combined with optical switching or servo scanning, it can realize the measurement of the three-dimensional wind field in the atmosphere. It has the characteristics of large observation range, high temporal and spatial resolution, high measurement accuracy, and has the ability to detect clear skies. It is an effective means of offshore wind field detection.
