Description

Since ancient times, rosin and rosin have been used in people's daily life. After entering modern society, rosin was initially used directly in downstream industries such as soap, paper, paint, and medicine, but it has the disadvantages of easy oxidation, easy crystallization, and dark color, which makes it difficult to fully meet the downstream industry's higher requirements for terminal products. In the 1970s and 1980s, the global rosin deep processing industry developed rapidly, and rosin deep processing products were widely used in various industrial sectors, such as adhesives, coatings, inks, synthetic rubber and synthetic plastics, food and cosmetics and other chemical industries. Rosin resin products are the main products of the rosin deep processing industry. Rosin resin is easily oxidized and isomerized. Most of the current rosins are modified. The modified rosins include: hydrogenated rosin, polymerized rosin, disproportionated rosin, rosin glycerol ester, rosin pentaerythritol ester, etc. Non-hydrogenated rosin esters mainly include rosin glycerol ester, rosin pentaerythritol ester, etc. Rosin esters are polyol esters of rosin acid, and commonly used polyols include glycerol and pentaerythritol. It is made by the esterification reaction of rosin and alcohols under the action of a catalyst. Rosin ester is a light yellow transparent solid with a variety of excellent physical and chemical properties, such as high softening point, good solubility and reactivity. In industry, rosin ester is widely used in many fields such as coatings, inks, adhesives, rubber processing aids, etc., as a key component such as plasticizers, curing agents, adhesives and modifiers, effectively improving the performance and quality of products.

Rosin is hydrogenated to produce hydrogenated rosin. Due to its excellent properties, hydrogenated rosin ester is widely used in many fields. In the coating industry, it can be used as a plasticizer, thickener and film-forming agent to improve the adhesion, gloss and waterproof properties of the coating. In the ink industry, hydrogenated rosin ester can be used as an adhesive and pigment dispersant to improve the stability and printing performance of the ink. In the rubber and plastics industry, hydrogenated rosin ester can be used as a plasticizer and stabilizer to improve the processing performance and aging resistance of rubber and plastics. In addition, hydrogenated rosin ester can also be used in synthetic resins, pesticides and cosmetics.

The modified rosins include: hydrogenated rosin, polymerized rosin, disproportionated rosin, rosin glycerol ester, rosin pentaerythritol ester, etc. Non-hydrogenated rosin esters mainly include rosin glycerol ester, rosin pentaerythritol ester, etc. Rosin esters are polyol esters of rosin acid, and commonly used polyols include glycerol and pentaerythritol. It is made by the esterification reaction of rosin and alcohols under the action of a catalyst. Rosin ester is a light yellow transparent solid with a variety of excellent physical and chemical properties, such as high softening point, good solubility and reactivity. It is made by the esterification reaction of rosin and alcohols under the action of a catalyst. Rosin ester is a light yellow transparent solid with a variety of excellent physical and chemical properties, such as high softening point, good solubility and reactivity. In industry, rosin ester is widely used in many fields such as coatings, inks, adhesives, rubber processing aids, etc., as a key component such as plasticizers, curing agents, adhesives and modifiers, effectively improving the performance and quality of products.
