The outer shell of organic hollow microspheres is usually made of polymers, resins or other organic polymer materials. These materials may include polystyrene, polyacrylate, polymethyl methacrylate, polyacrylamide, etc., depending on the preparation method and the needs of the application field. There are many methods for preparing organic hollow microspheres, including template method, emulsion polymerization method, phase separation method, micelle cross-linking method and self-assembly method. Among them, the template method is one of the most commonly used methods. It prepares hollow microspheres by coating a layer of organic material on the surface of the template particles and then removing the template particles.
