Description

Bipolar Plates are one of the core components of the fuel cells, which accounts for a large portion of the quality and cost of the battery pack. It is responsible for the functions of uniform distribution of reaction gas, conduction of current, and series of single cells.  In order to meet these functional requirements, the ideal bipolar plate should have high thermal/electrical conductivity, corrosion resistance, low density, good mechanical properties, low cost, and easy processing. However, the current bipolar plates have problems such as poor corrosion resistance and conductivity, high production costs and short lifespan.
